Fantoni orders new energy plant from ITI Engineering

The famous Italian-based Fantoni MDF and furniture leading manufacturing company, orders a complete brand new energy plant to Italian company ITI Engineering of Cremona.

The new MDF line called PX 8, equipped with the last generation of continuous press, will utilize the most advanced and up-to date generation of energy plant, based on the know-how of more than 45 plants produced by ITI Engineering world-wide in MDF, particleboard and plywood manufacturing.

The energy plant with a total net combustion capacity of 30 MW will use a 50 m2 grate to generate 10 MW of flue gas for heating dryers and 20 MW for heating thermal oil.

Complete assembly, steel structure and start-up is also part of ITI’s scope of supply and is schedule to be concluded by third quarter 2017.
